We put on some advertising for today and received 18 members! bringing the total to 26 and we are still getting more as i speak, this was a big acoplishment we did not expect that many in just a day but we did know how popular these games are. We are going to use this advertising for our new arcade site when it opens because they are also popular and i think will take off more than any site we have set up.

Right now our auction site is on hold we are not doing anything to it right now but is a future project, one day i would like to intergrate such a auction site into Wight Social but this would cost a lot, will see how much money we can get from our other sites first.

Wight Social

We were advertising on Yuwie social network site for a few weeks, we were getting a few members out of it but not enough for the money and the ones that did join just promoted Yuwie's money making ideas so we advertised on some arcade sites which received more hits, this was ok and we were receiving nearly 1000 hits a week compared to Yuwie which was something like 150 but little did i realize most of the people were Chinese and did not join our site maybe because there is no Chinese members here or maybe because they don't understand English. Right now the advertising is on hold untill our money builds up and untill we can find a better site to advertise on. We are also looking into ways of keeping members on the site this is a big problem which needs to be solved.

The invite module was well worth getting for Wight Social its nice to see people using it and inviting there friends and family to the site, i did notice nearly every social network site has one as its quick and easy to invite people from your emails contact list. The invite feature is a good way of getting people to the site, its kind of a free advertising technique for us, so in a way wight social advertises itself will a little boost from us.
