Tell us what social network sites you are a member of? eg. myspace, bebo. Also how long do you spend on these sites and why? is it because there is a lot of members to chat too, or maybe its the content. What feature do you most use on social network sites?

This will help us in understanding our members.

I have pretty much everything, although I use Bebo the most. In order of useage:

1. Bebo
2. MySpace
3. Facebook
4. This site
5. Live Journa (Although primarily it isn't a social networking site, you can still add friends and see what they're up to)

I use these primarily to keep in touch with friends and to look for new friends with simular interests etc. Although some like Bebo and Facebook have Applications which are fun, some are stupid :P

MySpace I use to check up on my favorite bands rather than look for new friends but either MySpace or Bebo are good for that. Neither one outways the other, I just prefer to use Bebo because in my opinion tiz just easier :P

Thanks for the information its a big help, its very useful to know what my members look for.

 

I need to get unsigned artists interested in listing there music on the site i will also make a category for them because they need to be sorted really from the signed artists.

 

Applications that facebook and others now have would be hard to add to Wight Social untill the future but i will sure look into that because they are something people like a lot.

 

Anyone else tell me what they look for in a social network site? it will give me some idea of what to do to improve the site.
